About Sean Fox
Sean Fox became Sunnyvale’s Town Manager starting in June. Prior to Sunnyvale, he was the City Manager & Economic Development Corporation Executive Director for Pantego, TX from 2011 to 2013. Sean is a 27-year retired Naval Flight Officer, where he flew S-3B Viking aircraft during Desert Shield and Desert Storm and then transitioned to the E-6B Mercury aircraft in 1995, where he was responsible for providing survivable communications links between the National Command Authority the Nation’s strategic nuclear weapon delivery systems.
He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University in 1986, his master’s degree in Public Administration from Troy State University in 1994 and a post graduate certificate in Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management from Park University in 2010. He is a member of both TCMA (Texas City Management Association) and ICMA (International City/County Management Association) .
Sean recently celebrated his 30th Anniversary with his wife, Tracy, and their daughter Lauren is a Navy Nurse stationed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
About Randall Heye
Starting September 8th, Randall Heye will begin working for the Town of Sunnyvale and Type A/B Economic Development Corporation as its Executive Director. He currently serves as the Economic Development Manager for the City of College Station. In this role he has been responsible for leading special projects and traditional economic development prospect attraction, retention, and expansion. During the past four years he has facilitated new agreements representing a combined $145 million investment, $14 million annual sales, and 250 FTEs with an associated $13 million annual payroll.
He received his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University, and would later earn a Master of City & Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master in Public Administration from the University of North Texas while working for the North Central Texas Council of Governments. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute.
Randall has a son, Davis (2), and has been married for seven years to his wife Joni, originally from Sunnyvale.
